Hi, friends! As of January 1, 2026, The Modern Massage will transition to accepting appointments by request only.

Over the last year, I’ve struggled with painful hip bursitis and unfortunately I can no longer see clients on a full-time basis. My Vagaro calendar will close to new appointments on December 1st. If you’re an Ashiatsu client, you can reach out to me directly at 865-924-9742 to schedule an appointment.

As for my newest adventure - earlier this year, I accepted an offer of General Manager at Sanctuary Day Spa & Boutique! It’s been a great way to balance winding down my practice while transitioning to a new, full-time job. My schedule isn’t open on a regular basis at the spa, but I am available to see clients by request. I cannot accomodate Ashiatsu appointments at Sanctuary, but I am available by request for regular massage sessions.

Next week, my schedule will be limited. My mom recently lost her battle with cancer, and our family will be honoring her with a Celebration of Life next weekend.
