KHC Family Medicine provider Dr. Cynthia Hoque recently represented Iowa physicians in Washington, D.C. as a delegate from the Iowa Medical Society to the American Medical Association.

During the visit, delegates heard from Dr. Mehmet Oz, CMS Administrator, and met with all of Iowa’s senators and representatives.

Discussions focused on key issues affecting patients and physicians across our state, including graduate medical residency slots, workforce shortages, and Medicare reimbursement.

We’re proud of Dr. Hoque’s leadership and advocacy on behalf of Iowa’s rural communities!
