🌍 International Overdose Awareness Day – Roane County 🌍

On August 30th, Roane County came together for International Overdose Awareness Day — a time to raise awareness, remember those lost without stigma, and support the families and friends left behind.

East Tennessee Behavioral Health, Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital, and The Jason Foundation were honored to be there, sharing mental health resources and su***de prevention tools with the community.

Tennessee continues to face an overdose crisis. In recent years, overdoses have shifted from prescription opioids to illicit substances like co***ne, methamphetamine, and fentanyl. This crisis calls for prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery services—and stronger collaboration among all who care.

This event brought together community partners to provide resources, hope, and a safe, family-friendly space to remember and heal. Together, we can save lives and support recovery. 💜
