As therapists we don’t have the time or the ability 😂 But really, therapy should be one of the few places in life where you don’t have to manage someone else’s emotions. A good therapist creates space for you to show up honestly: messy, overwhelmed, angry, uncertain, emotional… all of it. You don’t need to be “easy,” “put together,” or “less emotional” in therapy.
