Do you ever see something and think, ā€œthere’s no way they said that about meā€¦ā€

It’s sometimes hard to see exactly what type of impact we’re making on families and their little one when we’re beating ourselves over on taking the best classes and making the best decisions and saying the right things to everyone all the time.

Then a review comes in like this.

Truly, sincerely, from the bottom of our hearts: thank you for trusting us. We know it’s hard juggling therapy visits alongside body work and lactation and check ups and feeds and nap schedules. We know it can be a difficult financial decision. We know it’s a lot to go through a tongue tie/body tension/feeding journey (because we’ve been there).

So let me say again, thank you for trusting us with your littlest of loves. šŸ‘¶šŸ¼šŸ«¶

Playgrounds can tell us a lot about how children move through and interact with their worldšŸŒ

Some children naturally seek out climbing, swinging, and jumping, while others may hesitate, avoid certain equipment, or become frustrated more quickly. Every child develops differently, but these moments can offer important insight into strength, coordination, confidence, sensory processing, and motor planning skills.

The good news? Play is one of the best ways to support development in a fun, low-pressure, and meaningful way ā˜€ļø

What’s your child’s favorite playground activity right now? šŸ‘‡

Welcome to Move With Us May at Milestones Therapy + Wellness!

This month, we’ll be sharing tips, activities, and education all about movement and development...from tummy time and crawling to playground skills, coordination, sensory regulation, and more.

Movement plays a huge role in helping children build strength, confidence, regulation, and independence through everyday play which is the heart of what we do.

We’d love to hear from you:
What topics or questions would you like us to cover this month? šŸ‘‡

Kids don’t learn in pieces—they learn as a whole. That’s why we combine PT + OT in intensive sessions.

By working on reflexes, sensory systems, and movement together, we help kids meet the milestones that matter: reaching out and grabbing a toy, sitting at the table with the family, walking down church stairs safely...

We work side by side so the brain can rewire faster, turning maximum effort into lasting progress.

Our intensives are full through June- two July spots are open!

This is my Finny boy. šŸ’™

We saw everyone and did everything.
ENT for a lip tie release.
IBCLC.
Chiropractor.
Another IBCLC.
Dentist for tongue tie release.
Craniosacral therapy.
Feeding therapy.

And still…
8 months of trying to breastfeed successfully.
8 months of bleeding and pain and frustration.

I quit after 8 months of trying everything when I realized I would get irrationally angry when he cried for food.

I stopped breastfeeding the day before World Breastfeeding Week… and spent that whole week grieving something I wasn’t ready to lose.

A month later, everything changed when I found then again with

I was introduced to a different way of seeing the body—
not in parts, but as a whole system.

Because a tongue tie isn’t just a tongue.

It’s not just the latch.
Not just the nervous system.
Not just fascial connections.
Not just tight neck muscles.
Not just coordination.
Not just open mouth posture.
Not just noisy breathing.
Not just head shape.

It’s all of it. And it requires a team that works together, in the right order, seeing the whole child.

We did everything for Fin…
but not in the way his body needed and we didn’t have a connected team guiding us. We ended our journey early.

But now? I’ve learned so much and found all the right people. I know what I could have done differently with Fin, so I can do that for you. šŸ’š

There are moments in this work that stop us in our tracks—and this was one of them.

When a mama says something like this, we feel it deeply… because behind those words is trust, vulnerability, and a fierce love for her baby.

To be trusted in such a tender season is something we will never take lightly. It is an honor to be invited into your story, your questions, your worries, and your hopes.

Caring for the tiniest of God’s creations is more than a job to us—it’s a calling.

We are endlessly honored to walk alongside you. šŸ¤
