A Special Visit from a Former Patient 🌟

We were thrilled to welcome back Steven Hotaling, a former patient, who stopped by to say hello and show us how well he’s doing! Last Christmas, Steven was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome and was paralyzed from the neck down. With determination and the support of his care team, he left our hospital walking with the help of a walker. Today, Steven walks independently—and we couldn’t be prouder of his progress!

Thank you, Steven, for allowing us to be part of your journey. Your strength continues to inspire us all!

Gregory Hope was admitted to our hospital after experiencing a spider bite that led to an amputation of his left foot and a part of his leg. Although his life changed drastically, he exhibited a positive outlook from the start. He did not let his new circumstances get him down. Instead, he embraced the change and quickly mastered the techniques needed through different forms of therapies to help him get back to his routine. In no time, Gregory was feeling stronger, mastering wheelchair mobility and transfers. During his stay, he spent countless hours reassuring and encouraging other patients to reach their goals as well. He said, “Helping others makes me feel better. Having a good attitude is key to a patient’s success. Thank you to your friendly staff and for every aspect of my care during my stay."

Thank you for trusting us with your care, Gregory!
