Effective immediately Gallian Medical Group will not complete any Covid vaccine exemption forms unless the patient has a CDC recognized contraindication to the vaccine. Please go to CDC.gov for a list of exemptions.

Gallian medical will be closed on March 17, 18 ,& 19th. We will reopen Monday March 22nd. Please only call office after hours for emergency. Since medication refills are not considered emergent please call the office before these dates to have refillls submitted. Thank you 😊

Gallian medical has received numerous questions regarding the Covid vaccine. The Tennessee Department of Health is responsible for distributing the vaccines and has created several phases for when certain groups are eligible to receive the vaccine.

We highly encourage you to visit covid19.tn.gov for more information. There is a vaccine eligibility tab that will allow you to see what group you fall into and when you may be eligible. There is also a tab that will allow you to receive information from the department of Health by providing your contact information.

We are just as frustrated as you are that the different county Departments of Health are distributing the vaccines in different manners compared to other counties. We also encourage you to contact your county Department of Health for more information.

Gallian medical will not be receiving or administering Covid vaccines. The logistics and regulations involved are more than we can manage. Your county Department of Health, Walgreens, CVS, and other large pharmacies will likely be administering the vaccine to most patients.

We can not thank all of you enough for your support over the past year. We will continue to provide excellent care through the pandemic until the very end of it. We encourage everyone to be vaccinated against Covid. Please contact us with any questions.

Our office will be closed on Friday 10-16-20 and we will reopen on Monday 10-19-20. If you have any emergency you will need to go to your nearest ER or dial 911.

New office policies

Tardiness: please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to go through the check-in-process. If you are 15 or more minutes late for your appt you must reschedule for another day.

Please be aware of increased traffic congestion due to school resuming and the construction of the Pellissippi ramps. Please allow extra time to arrive bc if increased traffic and construction.

Cancellations
We require 24 hour notice of cancelation. If you cancel your appointment within 3 hours of your appointment, it will be marked as a no-show bc it’s difficult for that same office visit to be opened up for another patient in that time frame.

NO SHOWS
Appointments will be marked as no-shows if you do not keep your appointment. Please note that multiple No shows for appointments may result in a few being assessed to your account.

PAYMENT
All co-pays/deductibles are due at the time of your appointment. This is a contracted agreement between our office and your insurance company. We accept all major credit cards , checks and cash.

REFILLS
Please bring a current list of all medications with you to your office visit. If you need a refill between visits, please ask your pharmacy to fax a request so we can quickly respond to your need. We kindly ask for 48 hours notice if you need a refill.

SCHEDULED MEDICATION
(Nerve and pain med) these types of medicines will not be prescribed on first visits. Our focus is primary care and overall wellness. Therefore our clinic does not offer Long term pain management. We also do not prescribe any controlled medication as a first line of treatment for anxiety and depression. We can refer to a specialist of your choice, if you are in need of these services.

Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak we request that if you need (meeting requirements) testing please call 865-357-3790. We will come out to your vehicle to perform the test if needed. Please do not come in to the office if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to the virus. We want to provide the best possible care to all of our patients and keep as many patients as we can healthy. Secondary to high volume of test being performed there is a delay in the results. Thank you for your understanding.
