The KUB “Canstruction” food drive benefited the KAPA kitchen today with a large donation of canned goods delivered by Britton Leitch from United Way. We are so grateful for the much needed donation from KUB as it comes at a great time with so many in need.

If you are interested in helping us with a food drive, email kbaker@knoxvillemedicine.org.
We would be happy to drop off a KAPA Kitchen donation barrel at your place of work or worship!

The KAPA Kitchen Food Pantry is in desperate need of supplies for those in need. Many businesses around town have already started food drives for the KAPA Kitchen by hosting a donation barrel at their location.

We recently hosted a Good EaTN Cooking Class with Second Harvest Food Bank with several families participating. Kids were given cooking tools and cutting boards as they learned the proper techniques for cutting vegetables then cooked the meal together as a family. Cooking utensils, cutting boards, recipes, fresh produce and a box of shelf stable food were given to each family to take home. LMU-DCOM Knoxville REACH students and UT medical students served as volunteers for the event. It was a delicious and wonderful night for everyone!
