The end of October is upon us. 👻 We aren't letting the spooky month end without wishing our birthday girls one more happy birthday! Earlier this month, we celebrated our birthday girls: Kelly, Ciaria and Karyn with some yummy lunch and time together! ✨

It's been one week since we got to see the dreaming and imagination at the 8th grade Blount County Career Exploration Fair. 💜

Last week, some local middle schoolers were able to get hands on experience with what a two month well child check-up looks like! We had so much fun measuring the 'babies' and enjoyed spending time with some of these future medical superheroes!

Sick season is here. 🤧

As we march into another week of RSV Awareness Month, we are highlighting the most common symptoms we see this time of year.

We often receive calls about symptoms that are usually the Common Cold, Flu or RSV. While symptoms can be similar, they can vary from child to child. If your child presents with some of these symptoms, give us a call and talk with one of our nurses! 💜

🧠Mental Health is just as important as physical health!💜

Today is World Mental Health Day - a day to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world! Take a look at these statistics of kiddos three to 17 year old are dealing with mental health conditions.

💡Back in 2021, a National Emergency of Children's Mental Health was declared by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Children's Hospital Association. The National Emergency is still in effect today.
💡Shults Pediatrics has a team of Behavioral Health Specialists. If you have concerns about your kiddo, give us a call to talk with one of our nurses.
