There are no preconditions or flexibility levels you need in order to find joy and fulfillment in your practice – yoga isn’t just a luxury, it’s a right to your well-being! We are all beautifully unique, as should be our own personal practice – at Blue Ridge Yoga, all classes are taught to accommodate each student. As a community, we believe in encouraging wellness by teaching ways to modify individual practice in order to suit your needs and work at any comfort level each time we come to our mat. Our classes will explore balance, strength, awareness, flexibility, relaxation, and meditation using the breath as a guide – each meeting is an opportunity to explore and come to a better understanding of your own body and mind. Our diverse range of teachers hail from a variety of yogic influences and traditions, creating a deep pool of knowledge and spirit within our studio. We look forward to the gifts you will bring to our community so we can all enjoy the journey to more joy, more light, and more love in our lives!

We kicked off New Year’s Day in the best way:
✨Intentionally✨

Opening up the studio after a full week of rest and jumping straight into setting the tone for the year ahead is what we love to do.

D’lene led us through a grounding, intentional meditation to get clear on what we’re calling in for 2026. Then it was scissors out, glue everywhere, artists unite energy only! 😜

And listen. You did not need a single “artistic bone” to walk away with a vision board that made the cut. This was hands-down one crafty crew!

So grateful to kick off the season this way. Rested. Inspired. A little messy.

If you are new here and not totally sure where to start, this is for you. This Yoga Basics Workshop for New Students Only is relaxed, beginner-friendly, and designed to take the mystery out of yoga.

We will walk through foundational poses, simple breathwork, and alignment tips in a space where questions are welcome and nobody feels rushed or out of place.

This is not about doing it perfectly. It is about learning how to move with confidence, getting comfortable in the studio, meeting our teachers, and finding the classes that actually feel good for your body. Come as you are. We will meet you right there.

Saturday, January 3 at 12 PM with Abby.

We took a night to sit together as a staff, share a meal to celebrate the Holidays, and let the conversation unfold the way it does when no one is in a hurry.

These are the moments that shape a culture. Where friendship is formed and where care becomes something you can feel, not just talk about.

Where you remember that the work we do is rooted in people, long before it ever shows up in a class. 🤍

This is the kind of team we want to keep building. One that values presence, listens well, and leads with heart.
