Medical weight loss clinic that specializes in prescriptive weight loss for Knoxville, Tennessee and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to take a comprehensive approach in helping others obtain and maintain a healthy lifestyle, as well as, helping improve their overall well-being and quality of life.

At New Vision we have a different perspective on getting healthy and losing weight. Here, it is more about making long term lifestyle changes vs. enrolling in just another “fad diet.” Unfortunately it is easy to fail when trying to make healthier changes because either the initial goal set is unrealistic or the manner in which one attempts to reach that goal is unrealistic for long term maintenance. We have all seen this vicious cycle of setting unhealthy goals, strictly restricting caloric intake, excessively exercising, and still not meeting one’s own expectations. It is so easy to get discouraged in this seemingly never-ending-cycle and not only stop losing weight, but actually end up gaining more than one’s initial start weight. This cycle not only harms one’s physical well-being, but also one’s mentality and emotional state. All of which are important factors in obtaining and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. At New Vision, we take a more holistic approach. We want to help you succeed by customizing a nutrition and fitness plan just for your schedule, so that being healthy becomes a lifestyle. We strive to not only help you lose weight, but to focus more on what we like to call “non-scale victories.” These non-scale victories help one prioritize all aspects of leading a healthy lifestyle without feeling like you are defined by a number on the scale. We encourage one to not obsess about the scale, but instead, focus that attention on preventing hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc... or if already diagnosed with one of those, then let's work on reducing A1C/glucose levels, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, etc...
