Halloween is almost here, and Dr. Solomon wants to help keep every trick-or-treater safe!

Little Ghosts and Ghouls — Beware!

Jack-o-lanterns shine so bright—remember to bring a new flashlight.
Reflective clothing helps kids stay seen.
Make sure costumes fit so there are no trips or slips.
Plan your route before heading out.
Stay on sidewalks and watch for cars.
Cross only at corners and wear comfy shoes.
Check every treat before you eat.
Hold a parent’s hand and avoid strangers.
Skip houses with porch lights off.
Enjoy your treats in moderation to avoid a tummy ache!

When the night is done and the candy is counted,
all our little ghosts and ghouls can rest easy—
dreaming of next year’s “trick or treat.”
