NEXT SUNDAY explore more functional movement patterns and techniques that will help you prioritize joint stability over flexibility.
Stable joints are less prone to dislocations, sprains and overuse injuries.
Joint stability helps maintain proper body alignment, reducing strain on muscles and ligaments during activities.
Joint stability ensures that your body moves as a cohesive, controlled system.
By focusing on increase the active range of movement in our joints (strengthening the muscles that support the joint), we focus less on improving flexibility and more on developing the awareness needed to work around an entire joint rather than overly compressing and extending the joint.
We’ll also explore things like getting up from the floor with more ease, less reliance on hands and wrists and developing our natural strength profiles.
