“Linda was the heart of our family — steady, loving, and fiercely devoted. She carried a quiet strength and a gentle, playful spirit that made everyone around her feel welcomed and cared for. Her love was constant and selfless. She put her family first in everything she did, and her presence was the foundation of the home she so beautifully built. Throughout her life, Linda moved numerous times, but no matter where she went, she had a remarkable gift for making friends and building community. She never met a stranger. People were drawn to her authenticity and the effortless way she made others feel important, understood, and at home in her presence. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — music playing in the background, dancing around the room, decorating her home, and working with her hands. Linda also had a special talent for shopping bargains; nothing made her happier than finding a good deal for her children and grandchildren. She always kept her loved ones in mind. Linda had a deep love for animals, and many furry friends brought joy to her life over the years. She adored Samantha, Speedy, Joshua, Rocky, Sonya, Big and Little Fluffy, and Miss Kitty, among countless others. Her compassion for animals reflected the same warmth, care, and devotion she gave to her family and friends. Linda was known for her determination and tireless work ethic. She lived with independence and a true “can-do” spirit that inspired everyone around her. In her 60s, while living in Miami, Florida, she famously climbed onto her own roof to pressure wash and repair it rather than pay someone else — a story her family still tells with pride and a smile. That was Linda: capable, resilient, and never afraid of hard work.”
