Volunteer Spotlight

We are so proud to celebrate one of our own, Lacresha Logan, a dedicated Gentiva Hospice volunteer who wears many hats both in and out of uniform.

By day, Lacresha serves as a Deputy with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, where she is helping lead Tennessee’s first-ever alternative to incarceration program. This groundbreaking initiative focuses on education and vocational training to reduce the state’s 45% recidivism rate—giving people a chance at a better path forward.

On top of that, Lacresha is a mom of two, a master’s student in social work, and a true community advocate. At work, she takes on roles as an administrator, teacher, counselor, mentor, and friend—always striving to make a difference.
