COVID-19 Update for Fall 2025: What’s Circulating Now

The current wave in the U.S. is driven by JN.1 “cloud” variants like Stratus (KP.2), Altostratus (KP.3), and Cirrus (KP.3.1). These are all part of the Omicron family.
