For eight years, Amanda Smith has been a steady, compassionate presence at Oakwood. As our Assistant Director of Nursing, she brings experience, leadership, and a whole lot of heart to our residents and team every single day.
Outside of work, Amanda is a busy mom to her 12-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son, and dog mom to a beagle and a golden retriever — so yes, she knows how to keep up with energy levels. 😉

Hydration matters more than you think.
As we age, our bodies don’t always signal thirst the way they used to. Staying hydrated helps with energy, balance, memory, and even mood. Sometimes the simplest habits make the biggest difference.
