After you request to no longer receive primary care in this office, we can no longer provide those services.

STATEMENT FROM REBEKAH TIDWELL, NP

With great sadness, I am announcing my departure from Westbrook Medical Center. The practice owner is ready for retirement, and it is unclear what this means for the future of Westbrook. Because of this, I have decided to pursue other opportunities. The last day Honey and I will be available to take care of your medical needs will be May 8, 2025. It has been a privilege to be part of the Westbrook team and to be involved in the care of so many.

At this time, there is no other provider at Westbrook who will be taking over care of the patients I served. Please note, I have been managing the care of patients previously followed by Dr. Jackson who recently left the practice, as well. I recommend you begin searching for a new primary care provider as soon as possible. You may reach out to a representative with your insurance company to inquire about in-network providers if you are unsure where to seek care. Your medical records are confidential and can be transferred to another provider at your request. Please contact the office with any questions.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce to my valued patients and community that I will be leaving Westbrook Medical Center on May 21, 2025. I will moving to a clinic in LaFollette starting June 2.
I am so grateful for the trust and support I’ve received through the last 9 years here. I understand the impact this will have and I want to ensure a smooth transition for all. I am happy to have you transition with me to my new venture, but if you choose to find a new provider, I would encourage you to do that soon.
Your medical records are confidential, and a copy can be transferred to another doctor or released to you or to another person you designate, only with your permission.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the patients and families I have served. It has been a privilege to have known and cared for you all over the last 9 years at Westbrook. Thank you for your loyalty and friendship and please bear with me during this difficult transition.

Unfortunately, due to staffing changes we are currently not accepting new adult primary care patients or newborns who are not siblings of currently established patients. We will reevaluate this in 30 days and hope to be able to open back up to new patients. Thank you for understanding.

It’s been a few months now so I’m ready to proudly announce the addition of a second nurse to my amazing team, nurse Hilary! She came to us from ETCH Urgent Care and she has years of experience in pediatric and adult medicine. With the additional support and an extra exam room I am pleased to be able to offer more availability for appointments and a shorter wait for well visit appointments. We have openings throughout October for well visits/physicals and newborn visits, and we have same day availability for sick visits. We are so excited to be able to serve more families and provide patient centered care. Thank you for being patient during our growing pains. Nurse Jennifer, Nurse Hilary and I are proud of our team and what we are daily working to make the best medical home in Knoxville.
