Designed By Nature Inc boutiques offer image consulting services for women with cancer by offering mastectomy fittings, breast surgery clothing and hair replacement options. In our hectic world, there are many stresses that we face that can affect our health and wellness. And especially after a cancer diagnosis, emotional and physical imbalance can be a side effect of her journey. Designed By Nature/The Balancing Touch is a boutique designed for all women and especially with cancer survivors in mind. Our goal is to help promote physical and emotional balance for women who have gone through or are going through the experience of cancer or any other health issues. We specialize in fitting of post mastectomy prostheses and bras, Fashion bras in hard to find sizes and styles, hair replacement, and more. We also sell hats, turbans, jewelry, gifts, natural skin care, t-shirts, swimwear, and health and wellness items. We are looking forward to developing a network of holistic and other healthcare providers that we can partner with for referral that our clients may choose to use in order to assist with their healing processes further. We are saddened with the loss of a truly great man, Dr. John Bell. He was the founder of the University of Tennessee’s Cancer Institute and served as Chair of the Division of Surgical Oncology for many years. Dr. Bell was a gifted mentor and a passionate advocate for patient-centered care. His knowledge and kindness, sincerity, and genuine compassion touched everyone who knew him.

He wanted the boutique as part of the offerings of the cancer center and supported its growth and was a huge supporter of our business.

Thank you Dr. Bell for all of your years of service, you will be greatly missed.

Please help support this important cause that helps to give free mammograms to the woman of the CSRA.
I’m so proud to have started my first boutique in the breast center at University Hospital (Piedmont) in the year 2000 and participating in the first Miracle Mile walk, and I am proud to still be able to serve women with breast cancer in our Aiken boutique located at Aiken Regional Medical Center.
