Today, our hearts are incredibly heavy as we share the passing of our beloved Nurse Midwife, Katherine “Sandi” Eastham.

For nearly 30 years, Sandi dedicated her life to caring for the women and families of our community. She was more than a provider — she was a comforting presence, a trusted advocate, a teacher, and a friend to so many. Her compassion, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched countless lives through every season of motherhood and womanhood.

The love and appreciation our patients and staff have for Sandi cannot be measured. She celebrated with families in their happiest moments, stood beside them in difficult ones, and made every person she cared for feel seen, heard, and valued.

Her legacy will live on in the thousands of lives she helped bring into this world and in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

We ask that you keep Sandi’s family, friends, patients, and our entire practice family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 💜

Taking care of yourself during pregnancy is one of the best ways to care for your baby. A few simple guidelines include:

• Keep caffeine intake low (around 100 mg or less per day)
• Avoid high-mercury fish
• Focus on whole, nourishing foods
• Drink plenty of water throughout the day
• Take a prenatal vitamin daily
• Always check with your provider about medications or supplements

If heavy or frequent bleeding is affecting your daily life and you are not planning for more children, uterine ablation could be the right option for you.

This minimally invasive procedure removes the majority of the uterine lining and is usually completed in under 10 minutes.
