Free Doula Support for Late-term Loss and Stillbirth
I am offering free doula support to families experiencing the unimaginable. I lost my first daughter at 5 months pregnant due to a trisomy 13 diagnosis. My very first client called me to support her during her stillbirth diagnosis of her son in 2016. This kind of grief deserves tenderness, presence, and care.
That’s why I now offer free doula support for late-term pregnancy loss and stillbirth.
Services include:
• Emotional and physical support during labor and delivery
• Help with making birth/loss plans (what to expect, wishes for time with baby, memory-making options)
• Assisting with holding, bathing, or dressing baby, if the family desires
After Birth:
• Grief-informed postpartum support (processing the experience, discussing emotions)
• Resources for grief counseling, support groups, or spiritual care
• Help with creating memorials or rituals
• Guidance on lactation after loss (suppression, donation, etc.)
• Support with funeral or cremation arrangements (if needed)
• Follow-up visits at home or virtually to continue emotional support
