Free Doula Support for Late-term Loss and Stillbirth

I am offering free doula support to families experiencing the unimaginable. I lost my first daughter at 5 months pregnant due to a trisomy 13 diagnosis. My very first client called me to support her during her stillbirth diagnosis of her son in 2016. This kind of grief deserves tenderness, presence, and care.

That’s why I now offer free doula support for late-term pregnancy loss and stillbirth.

Services include:
• Emotional and physical support during labor and delivery
• Help with making birth/loss plans (what to expect, wishes for time with baby, memory-making options)
• Assisting with holding, bathing, or dressing baby, if the family desires

After Birth:
• Grief-informed postpartum support (processing the experience, discussing emotions)

• Resources for grief counseling, support groups, or spiritual care

• Help with creating memorials or rituals

• Guidance on lactation after loss (suppression, donation, etc.)

• Support with funeral or cremation arrangements (if needed)

• Follow-up visits at home or virtually to continue emotional support

If you or someone you know is facing this heartbreak, I will be there to sit with you, to listen, to hold space, and to help you feel less alone in it all.

Whapio, who’s a traditional midwife, offers a perspective that’s really different from what you’d find in textbooks or the usual guides. She breaks down the stages of birth in a way that speaks to something ancient, intuitive, and often overlooked.

There’s real wisdom in her words, especially if you're the kind of person who feels there's more to birth than just the physical.

Your diet after childbirth, especially your first meal after birth is extremely important. Prioritize warm foods, and adequate protein consumption.

It's easy to reach for the chips (empty calories) the bagel with peanut butter (which is an incomplete protein) or ordering Starbucks and going through the drive-thru. Prioritize yourself, your health, and your diet.

Aside from everything I offer already as a doula, I will also be able to offer raw honey to my clients from my own bees! 💗 🐝

I was accepted into a course that teaches the art of beekeeping to military members. I'm so excited to be able to offer this and have it as a hobby, an add-on to my career, and as a therapeutic practice.
