The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Nursing is a nationally recognized leader in the education of highly-skilled, visionary nurses. The college enrolls more than 1000 students in undergraduate and doctoral programs. These programs attract extremely qualified students and prepare them for positions in all areas of the healthcare sector. The college's graduates consistently achieve pass rates on licensure and certification exams of 98.5 percent or higher, exceeding state and national averages. The college runs a school-based, nurse-managed clinic in Knoxville, engages in international outreach with faculty and students, and generates practice nursing research that improves health, health care and quality of life.

Meet senior ABSN Scholar Paige Pecoraro! 🧡

Paige's journey started in fashion design and merchandising before realizing her true calling was in healthcare. She ultimately found her home here on Rocky Top in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing Program.

"This program has had a profound impact on me, both personally and professionally. The hands-on clinical experiences have been invaluable, allowing me to apply classroom knowledge directly to real-world situations. The College of Nursing has given me the tools, mentorship, and motivation to become the kind of nurse I’ve always aspired to be, and I’m proud to be part of this community."

3️⃣0️⃣ days until Sprint for the Prints! Each year, we run a 5K to raise money for the Precious Prints Project and honor those families whose children have passed on.

The Precious Prints Project® comforts grieving families with a sterling silver pendant bearing the fingerprint of their child. First launched at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in January 2012, it has expanded to include all major health systems in Knox County.
