I realized a long time ago that I’m going to have bad days, hard times and that I’m going to get knocked down..
That’s just how life goes sometimes..
But even though I may be brought to my knees and fall down, that doesn’t mean I have to stay down.
I choose never to be defined by my failures, but instead to be driven to rise again stronger every time I fall down.
I’m not saying it’s easy- turning setbacks into comebacks isn’t ever an overnight or painless process.
It’s going to hurt and I may hate every step of the process, but it’s necessary-
For me to grow,
To evolve into the person I’m meant to become.
Even the strongest person has weak days, times when they don’t feel their best or the obstacles that seem overwhelming..
But I’ve been down those roads before and somehow, I always managed to find my way, reignite my passions and keep pushing forward.
My fire may be extinguished as the storms of life drench me in hard uncertainty, but I’ll never lose my spark for long..
Because when the rains stop and my vision clears, I’ll see my way back to the top..
I’ll dust myself off, find my way and each time that I dig deep,
I’ll rise again from the ashes,
Brighter and fiercer than I was before..
More than just a fire, a flame or a spark.
I’ll come back again as a raging wildfire,
For that will always be who I am and my legacy:
Strong, fierce and unstoppable…
Like the beautiful warrior that I am.
