Daily dying to self and having a willingness to agree with God, when that agreeing goes against what I Identify with and what I think my perspective is. I have to be careful not to trust myself, thinking my way is God’s way, only to realize that’s backward from God’s Word. “God‘s ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts”, so daily, lay side-by-side, what I’m thinking, what I’m doing, with the Word of God, and not with the world as my measuring rod. Not trusting our feelings, our thoughts, our friends, more than we actually trust God. Most of us wouldn’t say that out loud; however, our lifestyles say it loud and clear. Take Eve, scripture doesn’t say she didn’t totally trust God, but Satan was able to make her think the perfect life God provided wasn’t perfect.

Proverbs 16:2 - “All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit.”

Proverbs 16:25 - “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”

Being a person of color should not automatically result in trauma. Unfortunately, some feel people of color don’t have to do anything but live and breathe to be found they deserve to die. All while, those who kill, kill with the same heart they say they love the Lord with. Lord have mercy... do we honor a flag over The Lord, over LIFE... It’s time to wake up!!!
Ezekiel 22:
26-29 “‘Your priests violated my law and desecrated my holy things. They can’t tell the difference between sacred and secular. They tell people there’s no difference between right and wrong. They’re contemptuous of my holy Sabbaths, profaning me by trying to pull me down to their level. Your politicians are like wolves prowling and killing and rapaciously taking whatever they want. Your preachers cover up for the politicians by pretending to have received visions and special revelations. They say, “This is what God, the Master, says . . .” when God hasn’t said so much as one word. Extortion is rife, robbery is epidemic, the poor and needy are abused, outsiders are kicked around at will, with no access to justice.”
