To my PWWS Family:

I wanted to share with you all that I will be leaving the office in the near future. My last day will be April 3rd. This is a decision that was not made lightly. It was made after several weeks and countless hours of prayer and contemplation where ultimately this change is what was best for me and my family at this time.
I want to express my deepest and sincere gratitude to each and every one of you who have allowed me the privilege of taking care of you. You are all amazing women. You each have touched my life in ways I cannot begin to describe. Being your provider for the past several years is not something that will ever leave my heart.
Please know that I am leaving you in the best hands, Dr Walker and Deb will take such amazing care of you in the days and years moving forward. You each will have a place in my heart forever.

We are calling anyone with a scheduled appointments and will either move your appointment up in the day or reschedule to another day. With the possibility of inclement weather over the upcoming weekend, we wanted to remind our patients that we will communicate any closures or delays via email and text messages. Please be sure to keep your phone on and check your messages before heading into the office. If you need to update your preferred phone number or email address you can log-in to the patient portal or reach out to the office.

For urgent medical matters, our on call service will still be available by calling our office at 865.690.7677. In case of Emergency, please proceed to your nearest Emergency Room.

Attention - patients with Humana Medicare:

Due to Humana Medicare provider network restrictions, effective October 6, 2025, we will no longer be in network for Humana Medicare plans.

We understand this is disappointing and frustrating news. Our top priority as always is to provide the best care and service for our patients. Every effort was made to appeal this decision but, in the end, we have little control over insurance company policies and network decisions.

Please know that we remain fully committed to your health and well-being. We encourage you to reach out to Humana Member services to find an in- network provider to take over your OB-GYN care. As soon as you make an appointment with your new provider, please complete a medical records release form and our staff will ensure a smooth transition of your medical records.

Parkwest Women’s Specialists office will be closed Thursday October 17th, 2024 for Staff training.

While our office doors will remain locked, we will have staff answering phones during our usual office hours.

We will re-open on Friday, October 18th, with normal operations.
