After a season of working solo, I’m thrilled to be surrounded by creative, inspiring friends and the energy of community again. With school starting soon, this feels like the perfect way to stay grounded and connected 💕

🥰Big life update!

After almost eight years as a full-time massage therapist, I’m taking an exciting step forward in my career and starting the journey to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing! This decision feels like the natural next chapter for me—a chance to deepen my ability to care for others and support people in their healing journeys.

Because of this, my massage therapy schedule will now be much more limited. My website is updated with my new availability, so I encourage you to book your appointments in advance to secure a spot. I’ll still be here (for the time being) offering the same thoughtful, therapeutic care I always have, just with a bit less frequency while I balance school and work.

A bit of news: It’s bittersweet to announce that next Thursday will be my last regularly scheduled restorative yoga class. Life has a way of shifting and evolving, and I’ve been reflecting on what’s best for me during this season of change. While it’s not easy to step away, I know it’s the right time to pass the torch.

I’m thrilled to share that , a graduate of studio’s yoga teacher training, will be stepping into this role and continuing to hold space for the community. She has such a warm and thoughtful presence, and I know this class will remain a sanctuary for rest and renewal under her guidance. I will be attending class as much as my schedule allows 🥰

Thank you to everyone who has shared this practice with me—I’ve loved every moment of teaching this class. I plan on hosting workshops throughout the year, so I hope to see you all there or on the massage table soon!

My perfect girl, Sue Ellen: April 13, 2012 - December 2, 2024

Thank you to everyone over the past few months for being so patient and understanding with the cancellations and reschedules.

In late October, my dad was involved in a motorcycle accident, and I took a few weeks off to be there for him in the hospital. Thankfully, he is well on his way to making a full recovery ❤️

About a month later, my twelve year old dog, Sue Ellen, suddenly passed, and I took time off for that, too ❤️

Sometimes, we have to take care of ourselves before we can begin to try to take care of others.

I’ve been back to work for a few weeks but just now able to publicly express my own grief and sadness about how easily and quickly life can shift. That said, it’s also been a reminder to stand in the goodness and feel that steady, grounded bliss when you have it and when it’s there to support you 🥰

Sending you all love during this holiday season. I’m endlessly grateful for each of you.

We at Glowing Body are offering fundraising classes throughout the month of October to support organizations serving those affected by Hurricane Helene.

My specific fundraising class is next Thursday, October 10th, so tell everyone you know. I want that Restorative class PACKED ❤️

In addition, I’m donating all of my proceeds from all of my classes for the rest of the year to reputable organizations working directly with those affected in our region.
