This has turned out to be a very sad week in the EMS industry. Please pray for Caleb’s family, co-workers and community.

I was personally deployed with Caleb to FL, ending ultimately in NC for hurricane Dorian. I will never forget him, he fought his health while there but ultimately he wanted to serve those in need. Caleb was a great clinician, selfless and very caring. He will be missed but no longer suffering. RIP brother, we have it from here.

Join us for the first annual Secret City Hazmat pre-conference, Aug 26, 2025 0800, in conjunction with the 3rd annual Secret City EMS Expo. We will host industry experts who will provide direct instruction on leak mitigation, Hazmat suits all varieties, decontamination best practices, and responding to highway incidents. The conference will include 8 hours of continuing education which will satisfy annual Hazmat Technician recertification requirements. Anderson County 911 has partnered with MissionCIT to conduct a comprehensive study of the county’s 911 system.

As part of this effort, MissionCIT is seeking input from community members and individuals outside the 911 system to better understand public expectations of the services provided.
