We’re proud to share that our flight nurse, Rebecca Layne, was recently interviewed by the Tennessee Center for Nursing Advancement to discuss her role as a flight nurse here at UT LIFESTAR and what drives her passion for this incredible profession.
Rebecca spoke about the unique challenges and rewards of providing critical care in the air — where teamwork, clinical expertise, and quick decision-making come together to make a difference for patients when they need it most.
Flight nursing is more than a job. It’s a commitment to serving our communities, supporting our partners in EMS and healthcare, and delivering advanced care when seconds matter.
