The Region 2 EMS Directors Association would like to congratulate Johnnie Lauderdale as the 2025 recipient of the association's paramedic scholarship. Johnnie currently works as an Advanced EMT at Jefferson County EMS and will begin her paramedic education at Walters State Community College next month. The Region 2 EMS Directors Association/Angela Reams Memorial Scholarship is offered each year to a student from Walters State Community College and/or Roane State Community College. Region 2 EMS Directors Association and Jefferson County EMS Training Facility have been proud to host an EMS Instructor Coordinator annual update program today. These valuable instructors educate our providers and students and are required each year by the state. We had just under 100 educators to attend. Thank you to Lakeway Christian Academy for allowing us the use their amazing facility.

We would like to congratulate Roane County EMS Advanced EMT Jacob Martin on being the recipient of the Region 2 EMS Directors Association paramedic scholarship award for Roane State Community College. Jacob began his paramedic education this fall semester, and he joined the Region 2 Directors at the September meeting to be recognized and accept the scholarship.
