My name is Kate, owner of Hawthorn Midwifery. I am a home birth midwife licensed in both Utah and Tennessee, and am currently serving the Knoxville area. My passion for natural childbirth began 17 years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest son. My first and most cherished role is being a mom to my two boys, Shad (16) and Liam (12). Now that my sons are older I am able to focus on my passion of providing healing and transformative birth experiences.
My goal is to walk with you on your pregnancy journey by helping you navigate changes physically, mentally and emotionally. My extensive training and knowledge as a certified healing practitioner will help you process past trauma to help make your birth experience be as peaceful and stress free as possible.
