Having trouble with following through with FITNESS & NUTRITION? This post will solve your problem!

We can all talk about how much we want to finally make the change and hit our goals whether it’s losing weight, gain muscle, or get faster or stronger in the gym, but have we actually sit down and make a specific goal?

with most things in life writing down a specific goal and breaking it down into what we call smart goals will make it real and more than likely you’re going to hit that goal or maybe it’s that you want accountability or would love to have a coach coaching you along.

That’s where I come in with my nutrition clients we go through a step-by-step process:

Mindful Meal Prep:

Part 1: ORGANIZE YOUR FRIDGE

Put Perishables Front and Center

Remember the saying "Out of sight, out of mind"? It's way too easy to forget about things like apples, berries and eggs because they're hidden at the back of a shelf or under a lid. So try to empty all those perishables into colanders, crates and small fruit bowls, and then put them front and center where everyone can see them. This will remind your family to use the perishables first and help prevent unnecessary food waste.

Separate Your Fruits and Veggies

By now, you probably know that you should separate your fruits and vegetables. (Especially since most fruits produce a gas that can cause vegetables to decompose faster.) But if you really want to make your fridge go a step further, separate those goods with a divided drawer, rather than tossing all your fruits or vegetables into one crisper.

Egg Holder

An egg holder may sound unnecessary, but can help you keep track of how many eggs you have left.

Protect Your Lower Shelf

Remember to stash meat and fish on the bottom shelf! Part of the reason that's such a wonderful idea is that if those brown paper-wrapped packages leak, the juice won't drip down onto everything else. You can also make cleanup a breeze by adding liners to your shelf and crispers.

Invest in Clear Bins

Make use of clear matching containers to corral and organize your items by category. This will help your fridge look more uniform and ensure that you can see exactly what's available.

Prep Groceries

If you’re big on fruit and vegetables, do your prep work before putting produce in the fridge. You can also throw together salads and make entire meals, keeping them in food storage containers so they’ll be easy to grab when you need them.
