Our dining room looked elegant, the food was delicious, and the celebration reminded us once again how special our community truly is. A very happy birthday to all our May honorees! 🇺🇸 On Monday, Sherrill Hills gathered for a special Memorial Day Celebration Lunch as we honored and remembered the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙

Residents enjoyed a wonderful meal, patriotic music, fellowship, and time spent reflecting on the true meaning of Memorial Day — a day of remembrance, gratitude, and honor for the heroes who made our freedoms possible.

We are especially thankful for all of the veterans and military families within our Sherrill Hills community. Your stories, sacrifices, and service continue to inspire us every day.

✨ What an unforgettable evening at the Sherrill Hills Senior Prom: Wine, Dine & Dance! ✨
The night began in the lounge with “Prom Punch & Pictures” where residents gathered to take fun photos, enjoy spiked punch, beer, and wine, and share stories and memories from their own prom days. With great music playing and laughter filling the room, it didn’t take long before the dancing began! 💃🕺
From there, everyone made their way into the beautifully decorated dining room for a fabulous dinner surrounded by sparkling prom décor and an atmosphere full of joy and celebration. ✨
Earlier in the week, residents nominated couples for Prom King and Queen. During the event, the top three couples were announced, and residents cast their votes that evening to crown the winners. Congratulations to our 2026 Prom King and Queen, Judy and Brent! 👑❤️

It was truly a magical night filled with friendship, music, dancing, laughter, and memories that will last for years to come. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening such a success!

🎹✨ Last week, Sherrill Hills enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music with talented pianist Marcus Shirley!

Marcus filled the theater with beautiful music, lively energy, and familiar favorites, leaving everyone smiling, singing along, and reminiscing. His performance created such a special atmosphere and made for a truly enjoyable afternoon together as a community.

🎶🕺 Rockin’ Around Sherrill Hills! 💃🎶

Today’s Happy Hour had everyone singing, dancing, and reminiscing as the Ohana Ukuleleans brought an energetic 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll show to Sherrill Hills! Residents enjoyed fantastic music, laughter, and a wonderful afternoon together celebrating the sounds of the 50s. 🎸✨

We were also excited to officially announce next week’s Senior Prom festivities and open nominations for our 2026 Sherrill Hills Prom King & Queen! 👑💕 The excitement is already building as residents begin voting for their favorite couples.

A huge thank you to our amazing event sponsor, Care Around The Block, for providing all of the delicious food and for being such a wonderful community partner to Sherrill Hills!

🏇🌹 After all the excitement of the Kentucky Derby, the fun continued at Sherrill Hills with our very own Sherrill Hills Derby Race!

Our residents faced off in an epic Men vs. Women showdown with stick horses, lots of laughter, cheering crowds, and plenty of Derby spirit! From derby hats to friendly competition, everyone had an amazing time — but in the end, the ladies raced their way to victory! 👒🏆🐎

Congratulations to our winning women riders for taking home the bragging rights this year! What a fun-filled afternoon at Sherrill Hills! ❤️
