The Federal Government opened up public comments on Block Grants to fund Medicaid in TN. Those comments will be taken into consideration when deciding to re-approve the Block Grants voted on by the TN legislature in 2019 or make changes. Rescuing Health is a nonprofit organization in East Tennessee that helps individuals with insufficient healthcare coverage pay for medical procedures, consultations, diagnostic tests, surgeries and medication that they wouldn't be able to afford otherwise.
The Maryville Huddle is part of the Women’s March Coalition of East TN.
