Our journey began in 2014 with an aromatherapist mom who was searching to formulate a safe, NON-TOXIC, bug repellent that would actually work, smell great, and be safe to use on her active, outdoor family, including her mountain biking enthusiast, husband who would often pick up ticks on the trails he rode. With these challenges in mind, she knew her formula would need to detract several types of outdoor pests. Working at first from her kitchen, she began researching and testing different essential oil combinations. Once found, she began handing her bug repellent out to friends and family. She asked that they take it on their vacations, test it and simply give her feedback with how it performed in keeping them bug free. For about two years, from coast to coast throughout the U.S. including Alaska & Hawaii and also Panama, she had an overwhelming response that the bug repellent sprays and oils not only WORKED, but how fresh and lemony they smelled! In this journey, Wild W**d Organic was born! We started by selling our products through local merchants and continue to do the same, as we very much value our grass roots foundation and LOVE to support our local merchant relationships! Since our beginnings we've expanded our product selections and now offer the convenience of online shopping!
Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, we are a family run company and continue to grow as our loyal customers spread the word with how much they LOVE our products! We hand batch and label each product, with great care, from our workshop and ship directly to your door! Cruelty free, we have tested our products thoroughly, only on our human, but never our animal friends!
