DR. DON ELLENBURG
Dr. Ellenburg is a Knoxville native who grew up in the Fountain City community. He is the founding physician of Allergy & Asthma Affiliates and received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Tennessee. He completed a pediatric residency at the University of Louisville and then completed his Allergy and Immunology fellowship there as well. While there he was broadly trained in pediatric chest and respiratory disease. Following his pediatric and allergy specialty training he returned back to his hometown and started Allergy & Asthma Affiliates in 1981. Dr. Ellenburg founded the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic of East Tennessee and served as its medical director for 19 years. He has had a long working relationship with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and still very much enjoys working with children, adults, and families. He has remained very active in the Knoxville medical community and is active in Partners in Pediatrics. He served as the President of the Knoxville Academy of Medicine in 2005. He has also been associated with the American Lung Association of Tennessee and founded Camp Wezebegon, which helped aide in the transition of asthma care from parents to youngster. He is board certified in pediatrics and allergy and immunology. Dr. Ellenburg has been happily married since 1974 and has 2 children both of whom have chosen to pursue medical careers. In his free time he enjoys walking, gardening, reading, watching UT athletics, and tending to his two golden retrievers. DR. TIMOTHY FRAZIER
Dr. Frazier is also a native of Knoxville and grew up in the Fulton community. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in Agriculture and initially pursued a career in pharmacy. After completing his Doctor of Pharmacy at UT-Memphis he decided to become a physician. He graduated from ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine and then did a combined residency in pediatrics and internal medicine at the University of Louisville. While there he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a two-year allergy and immunology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Frazier joined Allergy & Asthma Affiliates in 1994 and specializes in pediatric, adolescent, and adult allergy and asthma care. He is married and has 2 children. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and cattle farming. DR. ANDREW SINGER
Dr. Singer joined our practice in 2007 after serving as a clinical instructor in the Division of Allergy & Immunology at the University of Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his medical degree from Indiana University. He then went on to complete his pediatric residency at the University of Cincinnati and then completed his allergy and immunology fellowship at the University of Michigan. After moving to Knoxville, Dr. Singer co-founded Volunteers Educating for Food Allergies (VEFA), which is a Knoxville based food allergy advocacy group. He is married and has one daughter. In his free time, Dr. Singer enjoys spending time with his family, collecting cars, and watching IndyCar racing. DR. TRENT ELLENBURG

Dr. Trent Ellenburg joined Allergy & Asthma Affiliates in 2016, returning to his North Knoxville roots. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee. He graduated from The Via College of Osteopathic Medicine-Virginia Campus and completed a combined residency in pediatrics and internal medicine from the University of Mississippi. He completed his allergy and immunology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and serves on the board of the Southeastern Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society. Dr. Ellenburg is married with two children and enjoys family time, traveling, playing golf, coaching youth sports, snow skiing, and supporting the Vols. We also serve our community with the help of Certified Nurse Practitioners:

Our Story

With seven location throughout East Tennessee, Allergy & Asthma Affiliates has been serving the community in the treatment of allergies, asthma and immune disorders. We diagnose, treat and care for those who deal with allergies (environmental, food, drug and insect allergies), asthma, chronic sinus issues, skin disorders like eczema and hives, and chronic infections and immune system disorders. Since 1981, we have rendered the highest quality care to our patients, so they can feel better and live well. We care for patients of all ages, pediatric and adults.
