Meet Dr. Dagon J. Percer πŸ‘‹

Dr. Percer has always understood the importance of foot health in staying active.

A lifelong athlete, he knows firsthand how proper foot care can make all the difference in mobility and overall well-being. This passion led him to podiatry, where he now helps patients stay on their feet and doing what they love. Whether treating athletes or those simply looking to maintain an active lifestyle, he is committed to providing expert care that keeps his patients moving.

For nearly two decades, he has proudly called East Tennessee home. Outside of work, Dr. Percer enjoys hiking with his family and coaching his kids in basketball and soccer.

Give it up for Dr. David Sandberg πŸ‘

David Sandberg, DPM, was drawn to podiatry because it offered the perfect balance between hands-on patient care and improving quality of life. Whether through non-invasive treatments or surgical procedures, he takes pride in helping patients stay active and pain-free.

He and his wife, Dr. Heather Sandberg, have been practicing podiatry in Knoxville for nearly three decades. Dr. Sandberg is a West Knoxville native, who enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, cooking, and exploring great food and wine.

Meet Dr. Heather Sandberg πŸ‘‹

Heather W. Sandberg, DPM, originally set out to become a physical therapist while working as an athletic trainer in college. However, after shadowing local podiatrists and seeing the depth of care they provided, she discovered her passion for podiatry. That decision led to a lifelong career dedicated to helping patients maintain mobility and improve their quality of life.

A Brooklyn native, she has proudly called home for 27 years and is the original founder, partner, and owner of what is now Volunteer Podiatry.

Outside of work, Dr. Sandberg and her husband, David, have been married for 27 years and love spending time with their three children. When they’re not cheering on their kids at sporting events, the Sandbergs enjoy traveling as a family and cooking together.
