Thank you so much for your interest. I've exhausted many ideas for creating the children's museum, but at this point, I've hit several dead ends. Until there is more support and work to create a non-profit before pursuing creating a space, please keep in touch if you have any ideas for continuing this project.

We wanted to send thanks 🙏🏻 to the Kodiak Community Foundation for inviting us and Stacy Studebaker () for coming out Saturday and supporting the children mandala creations, so much fun!
Another thank you to Island Sawmill for donating wood, Spenards, () for the screws, and Highmark () for the sheets of metal to create Kodiak’s very first magnet wall.
Both of our pop-up events have been a total success with lots of involvement and we even got our first donations.
Next we’re looking for an indoor / outdoor home for the winter. If you know of a space please reach out to us.

The Kodiak Children’s Museum’s mission is to foster a love of lifelong learning through exploring the natural world around them, carefully curated to inspire children to explore, imagine, and grow! We offer a child-led, play-based environment that honors natural curiosity and interests.

Often we get caught up in things to buy. Need paint to paint and blocks to build, but nature art materials are all around.
We invite you to go for a nature scavenger hunt on trails and on beaches and collect a rainbow of colors. On Saturday, noon, at the block party Stacy Studebaker will model how to create your own nature mandala with your materials. Free event.
