Sports Physical Night was a blast at Sycamore Village! While the event was happening, our residents enjoyed delicious snow cones and great company. There’s nothing like a sweet treat and a fun evening to bring everyone together!

As National Nurses Week comes to an end, we’re grateful for nurses like Nakia whose compassion and dedication help make Brickyard Healthcare Sycamore Village feel like home.

Nakia has been a dedicated part of Brickyard for 21 years! Her journey is truly inspiring starting as a CNA, advancing to a QMA, and now serving as a compassionate nurse for the past 4 years. Her commitment to growth, hard work, and patient care speaks volumes about the kind of person she is.

In addition to her work here, Nakia has also served as an ER nurse and currently works PRN on the ARU unit at Riverview, continuing to make a difference in the lives of so many patients and families.

Her experience, heart, dedication, and willingness to always step up do not go unnoticed. We are so thankful for everything she brings to our team each and every day. Thank you, Nakia, for your years of service, your compassion, and the exceptional care you provide!

Get ready for game season! Join us at Sycamore Village Care Center for our First Annual Sports Physical Night on May 15th, 4PM–6PM. Middle and high school students can get their IHSAA sports physical for just $10 (cash only). Every physical supports Alzheimer’s fundraising, so you’re helping a great cause while getting game-ready! See you at 2905 W. Sycamore, Kokomo!

It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on, sharing laughs, and making memories together. Outings like these remind us of the importance of community, connection, and living life to the fullest, no matter where you are on your journey.
