After 9 wonderful years with us, we’re celebrating the retirement of our sweet beautician, Barb! 💇‍♀️✨

Barb has been so much more than a stylist — she’s been a friend, a listener, and a bright spot in so many days. Over the years, the beauty shop became a special gathering place where residents would stop in not just for a haircut or style, but to sit, chat, laugh, and spend time together. Some days people would come by just to visit and enjoy the conversation. 🥰

Through countless stories, laughter, and meaningful moments, Barb built lasting relationships with our residents, their families, and our staff. ❤️

Thank you, Barb, for the care, kindness, and joy you brought to our community. We wish you a wonderful and relaxing retirement — you’ve certainly earned it! 🫶✨

Our monthly ER3 celebration took us down the rabbit hole with an Alice in Wonderland theme! From tea-party vibes to big smiles, we loved celebrating the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our incredible staff.

✨ An Evening of Elegance at Our Winter Gala ✨

We enjoyed a truly special night at our Winter Gala Elegant Dinner! Dressed to impress and adorned with beautiful flower corsages and boutonnieres, the evening was filled with laughter, great company, and an incredible chef-prepared meal.

Dinner featured tender short ribs over creamy mashed potatoes with a savory root vegetable blend and a herb-crusted breaded salmon fillet that looked as amazing as it tasted.
When asked which entrée they preferred, many residents smiled and said… “Both!” — and of course we were happy to serve seconds.

The night ended on a sweet note with an assortment of homemade, from-scratch desserts that were the perfect finishing touch to such an elegant evening.

Moments like these—good food, friends, and a little extra sparkle—are what make our community so special. ✨💐

✨💕👑 We were so honored to have Aja, Miss Howard County Junior Queen, join us for our annual Sweetheart Ball and present the crowns to our Royal Court! Her grace, kindness, and bright smile added such a special touch to an evening that has now become a 9-year tradition at our community.

👑✨ Royal Moments at Our Sweetheart Ball ✨👑

Our residents felt like true royalty as they were crowned to the Royal Court during our annual Sweetheart Ball! A special thank you to Aja, Miss Howard County Junior Queen, for the honor of presenting the crowns and making the evening even more magical. 💖

In attendance, were five formerly crowned Sweetheart Ball Kings and Queens as well. A tradition we are happy to continue for many more years to come! 👸🤴❤️✨

✨ Love (and the aroma of a heavenly meal) was in the air at our Sweetheart Ball!✨

From the first bite of delicious hors d’oeuvres, to the perfectly prepared prime rib and grilled chicken with creamy spinach, fingerling potatoes, and fresh fruit — every detail was made with love. And let’s not forget the beautiful assortment of decadent handmade desserts that had everyone coming back for “just one more!” ❤️🍰

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible culinary team for creating such an amazing dining experience for our residents and their families. Your hard work, talent, and heart truly made the evening unforgettable! 👏💖

We kicked off our Annual Sweetheart Ball in the sweetest way — with a lively Happy Hour celebration! 🎶🥂

Residents and families enjoyed live musical entertainment, delicious charcuterie, homemade trifles desserts, refreshing drinks, and most importantly… time together. The laughter, smiles, and singing along to our favorite songs set the perfect tone for a truly memorable evening. ❤️✨

Feeling FABULOUS and ready for the Sweetheart Ball! 💄💅💋

Our residents were absolutely glowing while receiving glamour makeovers complete with hair styling, fresh nails, and beautiful makeup — all thanks to the talented volunteers and cosmetology students from the Kokomo Area Career Center.

The smiles, confidence, and sparkle in their eyes say it all! ✨ Thank you to these amazing students for sharing your time and talents to make our annual Sweetheart Ball extra special. We are so grateful for the joy you helped create! ❤️

We had a beary sweet time at our Valentine’s Painting Class with our Executive Director! 🎨🐻💘

Our artists created the sweetest teddy bear masterpieces. As Elvis would say… 🎶 “I just want to be your teddy bear!” 🎶 ❤️
