We offer several programs to residents of Howard County.

Project Access has partnered with both local hospitals to provide Doctor-Donated Care for uninsured, qualified individuals.
We also have a Dentist-Donated Care program, providing access to emergent dental care.
Other community partnered programs include Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids which enable qualified applicants access to these necessities at substantially reduced costs.
Project Access is aware of the high cost of prescription medications, and we have an assistance program for that as well. Our Medication Assistance program works with pharmaceutical companies to provide medication at a reduced cost or free for qualifying applicants.
All of the above programs are income based. The applicant must have a household income of 200% or less of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Please call 765-854-0544 and speak with our Intake Coordinator with questions regarding income eligibility. The 2018 FPL guidelines are:

Our nurse is available to conduct Diabetic/Chronic Illness Counseling for newly diagnosed diabetics or those struggling to keep their numbers under control. She also has supplies such as blood glucose meters, cookbooks and diabetic literature on hand! Offering advice regarding wellness, nutrition, and fitness to those in need.
Do you or someone you know need medical equipment? Do you have equipment that is no longer being used? The perfect match is Project Accessβ Medical Equipment and Supplies program. Donations of equipment from the community are cleaned, refurbished and tested to ensure proper functioning. All of the inventory is freely given to those in need. We are grateful for the opportunity to reduce out of pocket expenses by providing this exchange.

The Intern/Extern/Volunteer Program is accepting candidates. We have a new coordinator with innovative perspectives. We offer a creative educational program experience. We can also accomodate volunteers of all backgrounds and skill sets. Let us help you acquire exposure, networking and experience.
