Happy 2026!!

2025 was a wild ride and I am grateful for every moment of growth and support for the year I went full time in my massage practice and grew Mushroom Grove.
I hope 2026 brings new adventures, continued learning, welcoming new clients, happy returning ones, and encouraging self care and pain relief for everyone who needs it.
Thank you for supporting my new massage practice. Every review, referral, kind word, shares and likes, and appointment truly means the world to me and has helped my business grow. I wouldn’t be here without all of you. Here’s to a new year filled with healing, care, and the comfort you deserve.

It’s so pretty behind the building this week — but I know pretty doesn’t make it any less cold or snowy out there. I know you, because I’m the same way in the winter. The moment you step outside, your body tenses up, your shoulders rise, your breath shortens, and even driving can feel stressful with icy roads. Plus the grey skies never help the mood any, does it?

That tension takes a toll on your body every winter. This season, try not to fight the cold. Please bundle up, grab a cozy drink, take a deep breath, and step outside mindfully. Over the weekend you may know I took a continuing education class. This class was very knowledgeable and I am happy to offer lymphatic drainage for post surgery and lymphedema. Not only did I learn lymph drainage, I learned how to use SMRT, spontaneous muscle release to help the lymph flow better in the body with the massage. The last thing we learned was about scar tissue. Who has scar tissue? I am now more capable to help you with it! This portion of the class was interesting, during hands on I got this scar, on my scalp from childhood, worked on for the first time and it released my whole left side of my face.

Tomorrow’s the day! I start my Manual Lymphatic Drainage certification and I can’t wait to expand what I offer through Mushroom Grove Massage.
I’ll be driving there tonight and soaking up every bit of knowledge I can.
