The staff and residents of Howard Haven extend sincere gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Sandoval, owners of Dream Built Remodeling LLC for their generous donation. We are honored to have been chosen as a recipient of their remarkable generosity, which has enabled the creation of a beautiful, relaxing lounge and the renovation of the men's enclosed porch. This transformation has significantly enhanced the space, providing our residents with a comfortable and enjoyable environment and fellowship. Also, they provided a pizza party and many snacks the day of the unveiling.

Howard Haven staff and volunteers hosted a luncheon and provided a delicious meal accompanied by a variety of desserts to the county council members, commissioners, the Auditor's office, and personnel; we valued the opportunity to provide a meal in sincere appreciation of their tireless efforts during budget hearings. Thank you to all who made today a huge success. 💕

The strawberry festival is being held today at Howard Haven. We extend our gratitude to the Thursday Three Ladies for visiting and preparing delicious strawberry shortcake with vanilla ice cream for our residents to enjoy on this hot summer day.

The residents are enjoying their cookout today with chili dogs, mac and cheese, coleslaw, deviled eggs, and our favorite summer dessert Jell-O cake. We hope everyone is having a Happy Memorial Day!

More blessings arriving… today’s donations include two jars of mayo and fresh farm eggs. Thank you Arletta! We have received a tremendous outpouring of community support through donations this month and are deeply grateful for all the canned goods, food items, paper items, dish soap, and cleaning supplies pouring in to support Howard Haven. Our county home is truly blessed with all the community support. Thanks again! ❤️
