Premier Medical Group of Mississippi

We are a local group of providers serving the great people of Kosciusko, Carthage and Holmes County. Dr. A. Coleman Pickle (general surgeon) joined him in 1959.

Dr. Paul Mink established his practice of family medicine in 1959 with the formation of Attala Medical Clinic in Kosciusko. Dr. Robert Gilliland joined in 1964, followed by Dr. Stanley Hartness in 1969, Dr. Richard Carter in 1979. and Dr. Timothy Alford in 1986. Drs. Jackey and Betty Turner joined The Family Medicine Clinic in 1986, followed by Dr. Gary Holdiness in 1987. In 1993 Attala Medical Clinic merged with The Family Medicine Clinic thru the Methodist Health Care System. In October 1999 Kosciusko Medical Clinic was formed in the merger with Jackson Medical Clinic. That union was the catalyst for forming the current organization, Premier Medical Group of Mississippi, LLC. Today, Kosciusko Medical Clinic includes seven physicians, three nurse practitioners, and many visiting specialists. Physicians:

Our Kosciusko & Carthage clinics will be open regular hours on Wednesday & CLOSED Thursday and OPEN Friday until NOON.

**Need non-emergent care on Saturday? Trace Urgent Care, will be available to see you on Saturday until NOON.
