Ohhh March understood the assignment… because Sierra Bahena is THAT Medical Assistant. 💅🩺
Born in Columbia Falls, Montana and raised in Idaho, Sierra graduated from St. Maries High School before making her way to the Treasure Valley at 19. She’s been in Kuna for the last three years after meeting her husband — and lucky for us, she found her work home at Advanced Family Medicine too. 💙
Plot twist: She was a high school cheerleader. 📣 (Which explains the team spirit, the energy, and the “let’s get it done” attitude she brings every single day.)
Sierra started her healthcare journey as a nursing assistant in a nursing home and hospital before leveling up and going back to school to become a Medical Assistant. Why? Because she wanted to be in a career where she could truly help people — and she absolutely does.
Her favorite part of the job is seeing patients get the help they need and overcome health obstacles. For Sierra, improving someone’s quality of life isn’t just work — it’s personal. 💛
She lives by the advice: “Stress should be a powerful driving force, not an obstacle.” And if you’ve worked with her, you know she handles busy days with grace, grit, and a little sparkle. ✨
She says what drew her to Advanced Family Medicine was our dedicated, welcoming team that truly cares about patients — and we’re proud to say she fits that culture perfectly. Always willing to jump in. Always ready to help. Always showing up.
