This cute little girl, Camilla, has come a long way. She had a hard time sleeping at night, was colicky and would wake up grouchy, frustrated and sad almost every day.

Her mother brought her into Kuna Chiropractic after hearing of the successes Dr. Rosenlund has working with children.

Camilla is well on her way to being a happy toddler. Her mom commented to Dr. Rosenlund, after several visits, “She is just chill!” We are so thrilled for Camilla and her sweet mom!

Dr. Rosenlund has also noticed that Camilla’s personality is coming out more and more. Instead of being angry she is happy and smiley!
Her cognitive development is improving rapidly. She is learning words and her vocabulary is developing very quickly.

We are thrilled for the progress Camilla has made and for her loving and persistent mom.

Hi everyone, meet Luke. He’s an awesome young man that has a few challenges in life. He’s doing awesome and we wanted to share the amazing changes he’s seeing.

He’s getting to sleep at night faster. His knee pain that has bothered him for a long time has decreased. He’s noticed that hard tasks don’t stress him out like they used to. Lastly his anger has been much less.

We have seen in our office a young man that has really opened up with a wonderful personality. We love it when he visits us in our office!

Hi everyone, this is Konnor. He is doing amazing!! Some of his history with mom's permission.

History:

- Diagnosed with ADHD, Global Delay, and Microencephaly.
- His life has felt like 100 mph of unorganized chaos, with both emotional and mental challenges.
- He was a preterm baby with an unstable early childhood while in foster care.
- He has an AWESOME mom and dad (Justin and Trishna)

Progress:

He has been under Chiropractic Care and we've seen some amazing results.
- He's growing!! He's always been in the 25th percentile or lower in height and weight his whole life. He's now in the 29th to 30th percentile!!
- He's learned his ABC's!!
- He's learned how to count to 100 without help!!
- He can tie his own shoes!!
- He has learned how to add objects
- Communication has improved greatly!!
- A big one for mom was that he is no longer in the Extended Resources Room at school! She has always felt he could do more and be more.

Way to Go Konnor!!

Check out the amazing results Dakota saw after just one adjustment at Kuna Chiropractic with Dr. Rosenlund! At thirty weeks pregnant, Dakota is impressed with the extra room for baby and pain relief she experienced immediately. We'll continue taking care of this sweet momma during the final stretch til baby comes.

Masks, should I wear them or not?
Everyone is walking around right now wearing masks. You may be wondering, what if anything is this doing? The data is not the same everywhere so you have to use some common sense. A typical surgical mask will protect you from about 30% of the air that is coming in. Those cloth homemade masks are anywhere from 2-10% effective. So, what do we do. Here's the common sense. A surgeon doesn't wear a mask to prevent from getting sick, she/he wears it keep from spreading the germs to hers/his patient. If we are all wearing masks, we won't be spreading near as many germs everywhere we go. Also, those surgical masks do break down and are less effective over time. Change it every few days. Hopefully as summer is getting closer this pandemic will melt away. That is what we are all hoping for. Stay Healthy!!

To all of our wonderful patients:

As an essential service, our doors will remain open to help our community stay healthy through Chiropractic and Naturopathic means. However, we are asking, if you fall into the high risk category, that you limit your visits to Emergency Care only. That will be different for everyone and I will be happy to speak with anyone on the phone if they are unsure.

If you are indeed a high risk emergency case that needs to come to the office we ask that you call the office when you arrive. We will come get you when we are ready to treat you. We will continue to follow all CDC guidelines to keep everyone healthy and safe.

We will get through this. Our bodies were made to heal. Thank you all in advance.

PS Look at it as a chance to relax and enjoy your family a little more. Stay Healthy!!

Essential Services

Why is Chiropractic considered an Essential Service? This question may or may not have crossed your mind.

The number one reason is the benefit that Chiropractic has on helping people keep healthy and strong. Last week I did a post on Facebook talking about how Chiropractic helps keep the immune system strong. In short, an adjustment helps balance the nervous system, which removes stress from the immune system, helping increase your body's ability to handle the potential for infection.

The second reason concerns the overload on our ER’s. Chiropractic is strongly considered an essential health care service because it reduces the load on our ER’s. The #1 thing we all must work to do is keeping the ER, Urgent Care, and medical care as clear and open as possible.

Chiropractic plays a huge role in doing that. It's been proven that chiropractic care reduces the need for medical care of all kinds, so that is crucial right now. Since the #1 reason for adults to visit the ER is severe musculoskeletal pain and issues, we remain here to limit that.

Also as you know, our practice focuses on doing all we can to help kids through respiratory and immune challenges without drugs and medical intervention. Since that is a top reason for pediatric ER and Urgent Care visits, we're doing all we can to help care for them as well without the need for visiting the hospital.

With all that, we absolutely have put in play every single procedure possible from the CDC, the state, and our own, to ensure our staff stays healthy and so do our patients and community.

This is quite a time for all of us! Please know we're going to work hard to keep ourselves healthy and our doors open so we can do the same for our patients!
