Did you know your ears hold a complete map of the body?
That’s the power of Auricular Acupuncture.
✨ Benefits include:
✔️ Calming stress & anxiety
✔️ Easing pain (chronic or acute)
✔️ Supporting sleep & digestion
✔️ Boosting focus & mood
One of the most effective techniques is called Battlefield Acupuncture — developed for soldiers needing immediate pain relief without medication. Tiny gold studs are placed on key points of the ear and can stay in for several days, gently working around the clock.
💡 That means relief can continue even after you leave the clinic.
Whether you’re dealing with stress, pain, or just need a reset, auricular acupuncture is a powerful and needle-light way to get results.

Here we have some “Kitchen Witchin’”, with our teas; we have more, but these are the ones that go on the shelf in pretty jars haha we have different teas that my wife and I will drink, and the tea we make depends on mood and season and current health. An obvious example is that it’s hot out now, so you want something cooling and hydrating - so get some mint and lemon! And as a bonus for female readers, Mugwort is fairly tasty and can be quite helpful around women’s cycles. Give it a try sometime! Is there a “tea” that you like to drink for it’s medicinal benefits? Tell us in the comments!

Here’s me with my certificate for Best Acupuncture in the Treasure Valley 2025! I was pretty surprised to win this, mostly because I didn’t find out I’d been nominated until a day before the voting closed! I made one social media post about it, and the rest was up to fate.

Obviously I don’t think I’m actually the best, credit to those who have dedicated much more time and skill to their craft. But it was nice to see the support and appreciation from the community, and from people I’ve treated who left wonderful reviews. Take a look through those reviews, and let me know if you see anything that stands out!

Because it comes up often, I want to talk about the comparison between Acupuncture and Dry Needling. I have not been trained in it, so recognize that everything I say comes from the outside, from discussing it with professionals who DO use dry needling regularly.

Dry needling uses acupuncture needles to stimulate “trigger points” in muscles; these trigger points, usually stimulated with a TENS unit, cause the muscle to spasm, after which the muscle relaxes and the needle is removed. Needles are not retained in DN, meaning they don’t stay in for minutes while the patient relaxes. This treatment protocol was made by chiropractors as a way to make their adjustments more effective. That being said, it’s a fairly simple technique, and one that supposedly was learned from acupuncturists in the first place.

It’s somewhat controversial, though. On the one hand, many are trying to say that it is a better, more scientific version of acupuncture. The research and trials don’t really hold that to be true, but it’s what people want, because some folks are tired of the mysticism that often surrounds Chinese Medicine. What folks will tell you, though, is that it is either very helpful or quite painful, and for some reason I’m not privy to, it’s banned in several states! So while I personally don’t have many issues with it, I don’t see it as the “wave of the future” that will be the cure-all everyone wants it to be. Have you tried dry needling before, and if so what was your experience?
