This client presented with severe, full-body topical steroid withdrawal, including diffuse inflammation, scaling, xerosis, and pustular lesions on the arms. The skin barrier was significantly compromised at intake.

Care began less than two months ago using custom-compounded internal herbal medicine, with no topical steroids used.

The images shown reflect early clinical improvement, including reduced pustular activity, decreased erythema, and improved skin texture, indicating a shift out of the most reactive inflammatory phase.

Flares are expected as part of long-term TSW healing. Recovery is nonlinear and unfolds over months as the skin barrier, immune response, and nervous system recalibrate but I’m so happy to see progress and look forward to walking alongside this client toward long term healing. ❤️‍🩹

This is what healing looks like. Eczema, psoriasis, perioral dermatitis, mystery rashes, etc. They’re not just skin deep. They’re signs of internal imbalance… immune dysregulation, lymphatic stagnation, nervous system overload, and detox pathways running on fumes.

You can calm the surface all day long, but until you address what’s happening underneath, you’re just managing flare ups, not resolving them.

Real healing starts when you regulate inflammation, support drainage, nourish the gut-skin axis, and calm the body’s stress response. That’s when the skin finally gets the message to stop fighting and start repairing.
