🐾 A Message from Chewy 🇺🇸
Today, I wore my quiet paws a little softer.

On this day, we remember the ones who ran toward danger, the ones we lost too soon, and the ones who carry the weight in their hearts every day since. We honor the heroes in uniform — two-legged and four — and all who showed up in bravery and love when the world felt heavy.

In times like those, we dogs don’t have many words. But we sit close. We lean in. We listen with our hearts. And if you need a little extra comfort today, I’ll be here — tail low, eyes kind, hope still intact.

Because even on the hardest days…
we remember
we grieve
…and we keep loving forward.

We always look forward to visits from Christy, Kate and Sarah from PAM Health at Home / PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Kyle!

Our residents have the best time creating jewelry and beaded art with them every month. Last month, everyone came together to make a beautiful community sun catcher, and this month they got to design their own personal ones. We’re truly blessed to have these ladies come out and spread fun and laughter!

Let’s come together to support our community! From September 1st through September 5th, we’ll be collecting donations for the Hays County Food Bank.

A donation box will be located outside the Activity Room for anyone who would like to contribute. Every item makes a difference for local families in need—thank you for helping us give back! 💙

Family, friends, and staff gathered together to honor a life filled with love, laughter, and wisdom. It’s not every day we get to celebrate a century of memories, and we feel so lucky to share this special moment with Margie.

Our Activity Director will be out, and we’re looking for a few friendly faces to help keep our residents engaged and smiling. No heavy time commitment is required—volunteers can choose to give as little as one hour or more, whatever works best for your schedule.

🎉💿✨ Like, Totally Tubular Fun at The Philomena! ✨💿🎉

Tonight we cranked up the boombox, teased our hair sky-high, and went Back to the 80’s for Family Game Night! 🕹️🎯 From neon leggings and lace gloves to big hair and bigger laughs, our residents, families, and team were totally rockin’ the retro vibes. 🎶

Chewy even joined the party in his rad 80’s threads—because no 80’s bash is complete without the coolest pup in town. 🐾😎

Games were fierce, snacks were gnarly, and the smiles? Totally awesome. 💖 Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a night to remember—like, for sure!
