CHRISTMAS COOKIE GIVEAWAY!! 🍪
♥️ We're in the mood to show some love to, and highlight some of our local small businesses this holiday season!
Yes, I know it's still "pre-Thanksgiving", but those Black Friday deals will be hitting us all in the face sooner, than later.
🏠It's a good time to really consider how we can show up for our OWN community and spend our dollars with the folks down the street, BEFORE we get sucked into the 'Wallmart' and 'Amozan' ads.
Small Business Saturday falls AFTER your bank account has been decimated the day before, and OOF, no matter your good intentions, sometimes the 'ol wallet just doesn't stretch that far.
🎄NOW, is the time to purchase locally and intentionally. Whether it's a gift certificate for a haircut, oil change, or car detail job; a subscription for a monthly flower arrangement from one of our local florists, a family photography session, homemade baked goods from a local baker (shameless plug), or really ANYTHING handmade, American made, or sourced locally with love and attention that isn't mass produced overseas and floated over in a stinky old shipping container.
🎁 THESE are the feel-good gifts that make the most impact, all the way around. Yeah, your money might not stretch as far, but who honestly needs more "crap"? Ain't nobody in the world gotta open 27 presents for the fun of it when we know it's all just going to make its way to the thrift store in a trash bag eventually anyway. (I would know, I just dropped off a trunk full today!)
2-day shipping will always be there for the last minute stuff that you justtt can't pass up. But your friendly neighborhood shops may not be. Times are tough, (but we're gonna spend it anyway), may as well keep keep your dollars local!
Anyway, off my soapbox. Lol.
📣 NOW TO THE FUN STUFF - We'd like to gift the spirit of Christmas to one lucky local business!! Our winners will get to enjoy a HUGE box of Christmas cookies and yummy festive treats, delivered to their workplace the second week of December.
(Keep them for just you and your buddies in the break room, share with customers, or don't tell anyone we brought them and hide under the counter alone in your crumbs of shame.) 😉
