The Model Horse Store at Chilao School is operated by Redbird, a Native American and environmental non profit association which also owns and operates Chilao School. The school has given us the freedom to explore arts, culture, life skills, healing arts and environmental programs. We host the annual Models in the Mountains live show and model enthusiasts' retreat at Chilao School, which is situate
d in the heart of the Angeles National Forest. Although we are not an animal rescue per se, four out of five of our fur kids are rescues. Our most recent rescue is Koda, a female German Shepherd who is a bit accident prone. When she heals from her most recent adventures, she'll be getting a hip replacement. That will cost many, many horses. So check back often...we'll be listing pretty much anything we can get our hands on to pay for her surgery.
